Primary 1b have had a great afternoon exploring the story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ through our stations.
We had 5 stations….
In the library there was a cave, we used torches to see the pages of the book so that we could read it.
At the water we were putting our hands in freezing cold water, we imagined what it would be like to swim in the cold river!
In the playdough we were making bear foot prints using other animals (and some dinosaurs). We made a path so that the people could follow the tracks!
At the hearing station we were playing instruments to try and match the sounds to parts of the story. It was very noisy!
In the construction area we were making the trees for the deep dark forest. We used big bricks, little bricks, and building blocks.
I really liked…
using the torches – Rory & Holly
feeling the freezing water – Jay and James
making tracks in the playdough – Roxana & Ruth
playing the instuments – Brodie
Lots of us liked EVERYTHING!!!!!
Here are some pictures of us enjoying our stations for ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’…
Wow primary 1B what a lot of fun you’ve had and how very hard you’ve been working! What a great start to 2017!! 😊
Super learning! That’s one of my favourite books.
‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ is a great book. I think that water looks very cold though, brrrrrr!
