Here we are sorting the cards that had the days of the week  into the right order. Sunday could go at the beginning or the end.

Next we had to put the story in the correct order. The book helped us to do this and some of the cards had the days but some did not.img_4138

At this station we had to practise writing the days of the week and there was pictures at the side of what the caterpillar ate. We could also use the little cubes to make the letters that are in the days of the week. img_4139 img_4140 img_4143

On Friday we did a special job for the caterpillar! We made him a diary that showed all the food that the caterpillar ate! We even counted how much he ate! On Saturday alone he ate 10 things!! What a greedy caterpillar!!!

  1. Wow Primary 1b, you are all working SO hard and becoming very clever. Eilidh loves using stories like The Hungry Caterpillar 🐛 and Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻 to help her learn and remember new things. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻

  2. I love reading the blogs and finding out what you have all been up to in class. Zara says it is so much fun and she really likes it!

  3. The very hungry caterpillar was one of my favourite books as a kid – love getting to read it with the boys again!
