Deep Sea World

Today we went on an adventure to Deep Sea World.  We went on the bus and Alex the alien came with us. The first thing we did was go for our rock pools workshop with Lochlan.  There was lots of rubbish in the rock pool. We learned that rubbish can trap or hurt animals so we had to put it in the bin.  Then we introduced us to the starfish, the sea urchin and the sea anemone.  We were allowed to touch them if we wanted.

After that we went outside to see the seals getting fed. We learned some of their names.  There was Codi, Benji and 2 girl seals too.  Some of the seals splashed some of the people who were watching.

Once we had had our lunch we got to go an explore the aquarium.  We seen lots of different kinds of fish and then we went through the tunnel.  In the tunnel there was lots of lots of fish and sharks. The sharks were big.  We also seen some sting rays.

Rhys – I put Alex the alien on the escalator in the tunnel so that he could see all the sharks.

Conor – I liked the sharks because they had big teeth.

Eva – My favourite part was when we went into the tunnel.

Erin – I liked going to see the seals getting fed.

We had a fantastic time.  We didn’t just like our day we loved our day!

  1. This looks like a great trip and you had lots of fun experiences. I hope Alex was able to learn lots about life under the sea.

  2. I liked my trip because we got to see sharks. We saw lots of fish as well. Alex came with us too, I think he liked it.

  3. No way!!! I have always wanted to go and see the sharks, starfish and seals. Erin’s little sister Sophie really wants to go now… So we’ll have to arrange a family trip and let Erin be the tour guide :o)
