A cracking week in P1/2!

We were all working hard on Monday and then a man came into our classroom with 10 live eggs. We have loved watching them and we have taken excellent care of them all week. On Wednesday 6 eggs hatched. When we came to school on Thursday 3 more had hatched overnight. At 11.30am on Thursday we watched the last egg hatch in front of us. Next week we will have the chance to hold the chicks.

On Tuesday we went on our class trip to Summerlea. We went on a tram and looked at different houses from the 40’s, 60’s and 80’s. Some of us were very brave and went down the mine. We enjoyed our lunch in the park. We had a great time! Miss Wallace was delighted with our behaviour.

We have had great fun out in the sunshine. What a cracking week we have had!

  1. You have been such a great class hosting these chicks. You kept us all well informed of the chicks’ progress. The whole school has been in your room and you have kept focused on your work. Well done P1/2!
