Sgoiltean Èico aig Bun-Sgoil Condobhrait / Eco Schools at Condorrat Primary 

Our school eco committee gained out Green Flag Award from Eco-Schools Scotland in 2025. This was to recognise the positive effect our Eco Committee had made to our schools local environment. We focused on three main areas throughout our plan, Energy, Litter and Waste and Climate Action. Some of the ways in which we raised awareness of Climate Action included an assembly which educated our peers of the importance of being environmentally responsible. We established a litter picking rota which ensured waste was being disposed of correctly. We were also recognised for our efforts in ensuring that pupil voice was present in all stages of our application, along with our efforts in ensuring we kept our commitment to the Gaelic language by creating bilingual resources. Our next Eco plan focuses on increasing awareness of sustainability, reducing paper wastage and making community involvement in the environment one of our objectives.
