Careers

Welcome to our Careers Page which aims to provide pupils, parents and guardians with current information relating to careers information and employment opportunities (links at the bottom of this page). It will sign-post readers to web links and highlight issues of importance for pupils aiming to make well informed and realistic career decisions about their future.

Job Search Website (neuvoo.co.uk Click Here)

  • It is free and we don’t ask for any information.
  • We centralize all jobs available on the web to help people find new career opportunities, so we are much like the Google for jobs.
  • And if your students want to apply for any vacancy, neuvoo will redirect you to the company’s website.
  • We offer over 800,000 jobs in UK and the list of jobs is constantly being updated.

Careers Interview
Pupils self-refer or are referred to the Careers Adviser by the Pupil Support and Management Team at the school. Referral Cards are available from the Front Office and once completed are posted back into the Career Box. The Careers Adviser will then organise interviews for pupils.

Pupils will often work with the Careers Adviser over a period of time as they become aware of their strengths, abilities and values and increase their awareness of the opportunities open to them in the world of work.

Career Plan of Action
The main careers interview ends with a hand written Career Plan of Action highlighting areas to research or consider and action points for the pupil and Careers Adviser to follow through on. The pupil is encouraged to discuss their plan with their family and friends.
