Anti-Bullying Café

In November 2019, Coatbridge High School collaborated with Scottish anti-bullying charity Respectme to organize and run a Campaign Cafe event where pupils from various schools attended and discussed their experiences with bullying and shared their thoughts on how to tackle it in the future.

We were chosen due to our presentation at a previous Respectme event in Glasgow, June 2019 as recognition for the outstanding work that goes on all around Coatbridge High school.

We had over 80 attendees from 13 High Schools across NLC, SLC and Glasgow. The feedback was exceptionally positive and all schools felt it was a positive way to share good practice and ideas in helping to ensure Respect for all. The event attracted interest from Social Media, Radio, TV and the press, namely The Scotsman, Herald, TFN, TESS and our local Advertiser.
