S2 Modern Studies

Students who select Modern Studies in S2 will embark on a Broad General Education course for the next two years.

The courses in S2 are as follows:

Homelessness in the UK
Studying the reasons people become homeless and the problems they face. Looking into the government's responses and the work of charities including the Big Issue.

Refugees in the UK
Studying the reasons why people become refugees and the countries they leave to flee to the UK. Looking at the prejudice and discrimination faced by this vulnerable group.
