Visit to the Scottish Parliament

On Wednesday 20th January, Primary 6 went on a visit to Edinburgh to the Scottish Parliament. We had a fabulous day and learned lots of interesting facts.

We had a presentation about the history of the parliament where we had artefacts that we had to describe, then we went on a tour of the building, learning all about the architecture. We visited the debating chamber and finally had a visit for question time with our local MSP.

To top off a really exciting day, we bumped into the First Minister, Nicola Strugeon in the foyer and she agreed to a photo with us! What a great day out!

  1. I loved going to parliament it was really fun, my favourite parts are when we got to go to the debating chamber and meeting Alex Neil and Nicola Sturgeon.
