The children enjoyed a reporting back session today on their autumn IDL homework tasks. Some had made crowns of autumn leaves, we had an autumn and hedgehog acrostic poem, a bird feeder and woodland walk scent jars whereby the children had gathered autumn leaves, twigs etc and mashed them up in a jar with some water to create the “smell of autumn “. Others drew pictures showing the differences in the seasons of summer and autumn and some even gathered leaves and used them to make pictures of autumn animals. I am very impressed with everyone’s efforts. A massive thank you to all parents who shared in this learning too. I hope everyone found it worthwhile.
