The Apples reading group used their reading skills to read each other’s taught writing work. They added their comments to their partner’s jotter, pointing out the good points and drawing their attention to things they might improve on. They then spoke to each other about the writing work completed. From this conversation, the children coloured their target the appropriate colour. The children enjoyed doing this.
