Primary 1a Update.

Primary 1a have been really busy over the past few weeks! We took part in the sponsored Drumathon which was great fun! Thanks to all our parents who collected sponsor money. We also had a lovely trip to Summerlee Heritage Park as part of our topic “When Gran was a Girl”. We saw lots of interesting things about the olden days and joined in the workshops which was great fun! We are still working hard and are busy in class with our Language and Maths work.imageimageimageimageimage

Hurray!!!!

Lots of apologies to all Primary 1a parents. We have had a few (quite a few) technical difficulties with this blog, however, hopefully everything has been fixed now and will remain that way. We have been trying to sort this out and thought a few times it was rectified but obviously we were not successful. I think this should be the solution now and will keep checking that things are working fully.

Healthy Eating

imageWe have been looking at healthy eating during our Goldilocks topic and planned a healthy picnic. As part of our picnic we made delicious cream cheese and banana open sandwiches. They were SCRUMMY! I hope you like out pictures of us having fun making them!

Welcome to Primary 1a

Welcome to Primary 1a. We are looking forward to a wonderful first year at school. Our teacher is Mrs Heron and there are 24 children in our class. We are learning our first sounds, tricky words and numbers to 5.  Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday each week and we must remember to bring our kit on these days.  We will keep you posted on some of the exciting things we do.
