Welcome to Primary 1a’s blog! We have been very busy since we came back after the Easter holidays. We have finished our topic on Little Red Riding Hood which was great fun and we also looked at Spring and some of the changes which happen as the seasons change. We looked at life cycles of frogs and butterflies and just today went to see some caterpillars which are getting ready to change into a chrysalis.We shall be starting our new topic ” The Enormous Turnip” and shall be doing an an experiment looking at what makes things grow.

We had  a lovely day when we had our Teddy Bears’s Picnic. We made hats and Teddy biscuits. Thank you all for the sponsor money which will be sent to St.Andrews’ Hospice. Hope you like our photographs!
