Carnbroe Primary School

Head Teacher Welcome

Welcome to an overview of Carnbroe Primary School for session 2019/2020.
I am nearly into my 15th year as Head Teacher of Carnbroe and in that time I have seen the village grow and all of our students mature and progress in their learning and their social skills. The school roll has risen steadily from 166 in 2004 to 268 at the present moment. The school building will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year so we will be holding an afternoon tea for the local community and pupils past and present are welcome to come along and help us celebrate.
The staff and pupils are very proud of their school and use every opportunity and experience to move forward on their journey to excellence. Although the building is small we use all space to its best advantage and look for opportunities to get out into the community.
We are a forward thinking school and like to take on new and exciting opportunities. Over the past years, with the help of our business partner, Construction Design Architects, we have been named the most innovative enterprising school in North Lanarkshire and with support we hope to continue to excel in many areas.
Whole school newsletters ensure parents are kept abreast of activities and events within the school. Our school website, school app, daily Twitter updates and class newsletters give parents more in-depth knowledge pertinent to their own children. If you can suggest new and challenging ways for the school to move forward please contact us as we would love to extend our partnership working.
Regards

  1. Hi,

Thought you might like to see pics and details of Nicole and Jason’s first day at their school in Texas. Could you message me the best email address to use?
