Every year the school runs a UCAS class which assists our S6 students in applying to University. While the students are given time during the school day we encourage them to complete the application in their own time and for parents to be involved in this process.
Students will be working on applications during the month of September to November. Although the deadline for UCAS is 15th January, the school deadline for most applications is the last week in November. However, be aware that some courses such as Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Law, Music and Art have different deadlines and may need additional entry tests. Many of the courses that use admissions tests are also the courses that have the 15 October application deadline – so it’s worth checking these details in advance.
