Geography

Geography

Geography develops a range of geographical skills and techniques. Learners gain an understanding of the ways in which people and the environment interact in response to physical and human processes at local, national, international and global scales. Geography provided a broad range of flexible learning contexts covering physical, human and global geographical environments, and brings together the natural and social sciences.

It also provides geographical perspectives on important issues concerning the environment, sustainability and citizenship, and offers challenging, coherent and enjoyable journeys for learners who progress through levels. They encourage fieldwork and the use of local environments and the acquisition of geographical skills.
