Travel and Tourism is a qualification run by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) designed as an introductory course into the travel & tourism industry. It offers students the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes useful for work in this sector.

UK & Worldwide | Similar ideas, but looking further afield — other parts of the UK, Europe, and long‑haul international destinations. Trends, comparisons, holiday planning, etc. |
Customer Service | Focus on dealing with customers: how to meet their needs, how to respond to enquiries, complaints, and promote services/products. |
Employability | Skills needed for working in the travel & tourism industry: job roles, being a good employee, preparing for work, and maybe exploring what skills you have / might need. |
Assessment
This qualification is internally assessed, meaning work is completed and then marked by the school. There is no external exam for this course, but you must complete all the required units and fulfil the evidence requirements to gain the qualification.
