Calderhead High School enjoyed having our visitors from St Patrick’s Primary School. Before the younger children returned to St Patrick’s, pupils from the S3 Personal Development classes had a great time helping out the younger pupils at the Primary School Christmas lunch.
Senior pupils in the Personal Development class are busy organising the school’s annual Christmas Fayre, which will take place on 26 November 2016 from 1pm to 3pm.
There will be a number of different stalls with something for everyone as well as a coffee shop with delicious cakes and beverages. You can also meet Santa Claus in his Frozen themed grotto. Entertainment will be provided by the excellent Calderhead High School choir, who will be singing Christmas songs.
There will be a Halloween disco for S1 pupils periods 6 and 7 on Monday in the Assembly Hall.
Pupils will be able to get their faces painted for 50p and special FX make-up for £1.50 at lunchtime and can get changed into their costumes at the end of period 5.
As well as the disco, there will be games, a tuck-shop and a costume competition.
The senior Personal Development class are busy organising an Hallowe’en Party for S1 pupils on Monday, 31st October.
The class were treated to face-painting lessons by Miss Reilly in preparation for the party.
