Safer Internet Day 2018 will be celebrated globally on Tuesday, 6th February and offers the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community.
The internet has transformed the way we communicate and connect with each other and this has impacted our digital wellbeing and our relationships. The theme for Safer Internet Day this year is ‘Create, connect and share respect: a better internet starts with you’.
This theme encourages young people to work together to be positive, safe and respectful online and to consider how they interact with others to develop healthy online relationships.
