We’re celebrating St Andrew’s Day in Calderhead High today.
Mrs Phee’s S2 ICT class were researching and reporting on St Andrew using ‘sway’, a digital storytelling application.
A powerpoint detailing facts about St Andrew was also showing on the large screen in the Library.
Pupils from Calderhead HS team took part in the Vex Competition in Coatbridge. They got through to the semi-finals. Well done, boys! In the VEX Competitions, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more.
