Physics is the study of how things work and it allows us to appreciate and understand the world we live in. It explores a range of questions such as how did the Universe begin? What is a black hole? How does heat get to Earth? How can an object be made to accelerate quicker?

It develops an analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving which prepares students for the many challenges they will encounter in life.
