Art Club runs every Thursday at lunchtime in the Art department. Pupils should have their lunch first and then make their way to the department at 12.45pm.

Love books? CalderRead Book Group meets every Friday in the Library at lunchtime. Activities include talking about our favourite books, reviewing new books and much more!

Choc and Chill
The Salvation Army run “Choc and Chill” sessions every Wednesday lunchtime in the Home Economics department.
Comic Book Club
Comic Book Club meets every Tuesday lunchtime and we get together to discuss manga, anime, graphic novels, and all things Marvel and DC. See Mrs Lumsden for more details.
Film Club
Film Club meets every Tuesday lunchtime in the English department. See Miss Stillie for more information.
Homework Club
Homework Club will run Wednesday lunchtime for anyone who needs a quiet space for homework for any subject. Students can bring a cold lunch with them and eat while working. No hot food. Students should pick up a pass card at break time on Wednesday morning. Humanities 4.
Knitting club

Lego Club

LGBT+ Group meets every Wednesday lunchtime in the English Department.

Shotts Health Information Point hold a Lunch Club in Elaine’s room every Wednesday lunchtime. Everyone welcome!
Sports Clubs and Groups
There are many PE Extra-Curricular Clubs available to pupils at Calderhead High School, including basketball, boxing, fitness suite, gymnastics and trampolining, football, netball, orienteering, running/cross country, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball.
