Senior pupils Ceinwyn, Samantha and Jason participated in the VEX Robotics challenge at New College Lanarkshire on Friday 23 February 2017 . There was fierce competition and the Calderhead High team narrowly missed winning the challenge.
The VEX Competitions are presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation and teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge.
Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more.
Well done to Ceinwyn, Jason and Samantha.
