Calderhead High School pupils Andrew Lynch, Morgan Lynch and Jason Prentice all competed at the World Pipe Band Championships earlier this month.

Jason, seen here with his bagpipe teacher, Ross Cowan,  is a member of the North Lanarkshire Schools Pipe Band, which placed 5th in the Novice B category. He competed against bands from other countries including South Africa and Australia.
