A BUSY TIME!

Today we found out our first novel studies of p6. We all liked them. We also did our first learning log activity. It was all about our topic on finding the perimeter of 2D shapes. Composite shapes are the hardest.  Today we made our choices for Personalisation and Choice which starts next week.  Yesterday Mr Young came to our class to watch us doing our language work. We were learning how to write super sentences. He said we were amazing!

  1. Hi everyone in Primary 6! How are you all?

I have just finished the second day at my new school in Portugal and can you believe I have a Primary 6 class. I am not too sure if they will be as good as you guys but we will see! I hope you all enjoyed the summer holidays and you are back working as hard as I know you can.

I read Mr Young’s blog saying we were the last class in June to win the Cool Class Cup so a huge well done to you all!

    Miss Lee 🙂

  2. Great to hear from you. We blame Mr Hughes for not replying sooner because he had still to be shown how to read comments!! What is the name of your new school? How many pupils in your class? Is it warm in your class? We had to get special heaters into our class because the boiler isn’t working yet and it’s colder in Scotland. If you read our latest blog you will hear about our trip to the Scottish Parliamnent.:)

  3. Hello everyone! Great to hear from you. I have 19 pupils in my class (the biggest class in the primary school!). My classroom is very warm when the sun is shining, but I have heard that it gets very cold during winter. I also have special heaters but I haven’t used them yet. Can you believe that for the past week it has rained non-stop with thunder and lightening. I thought I was back in Coatbridge! Classes in Portugal finish at 4:10pm so that is a big difference from Scotland, think you would like to stay until that time? I read your post about the Scottish parliament, sounds like you all had an enjoyable time and learned lots!
