Bargeddie Primary School: Curriculum Rationale Questionnaire

“I think well-being is important but the basic skills of literacy and numeracy should be at the forefront of all education as children need these basic skills to work or go into further education. With so much education lost during the pandemic I think there needs to be more focus on this allowing parents to develop well being at home.”

“Anything surrounding mental health resilience, and life skills.”

“A lot of these outcomes are so important it was hard to put them into order. A good mix of these outcomes should be in the curriculum rationale to create a good balance for the children in this ever changing world we live in. Leaving room for the teacher to adapt the curriculum to suit the needs of the children in their class at that time.”
