Developing the Young Workforce

Developing the Young Workforce is a strategy from the Scottish Government to better prepare young children for the world of work.

Developing the Young Workforce builds on the foundations of Curriculum for Excellence and contributes to the development of the four capacities, makes full use of the four contexts of the curriculum, and addresses each of the entitlements. One example is the entitlement for all children and young people to experience opportunities to develop skills for learning, skills for life and skills for work.
