This week is Children’s Mental Health Week 2022. We will be taking part in lots of activities relating to this all week.

Tomorrow is Chinese New Year. It is the year of the Tiger. Pupils will be taking part in activities, to celebrate, throughout the week.

February is LGBT+ History Month. Pupils will be taking part in activities throughout the month.

**Primary 1 Enrolment** Please see the attached letter for information regarding enrolment for new Primary 1 pupils starting school in August 2022. The deadline for applications is Monday 24th January 2022.

From today all P5 pupils are now able to receive a free school lunch. P5 pupils join all pupils in P1-4 in receiving a free school meal, as part of the Scottish Government’s expansion of healthy meals.

Club 365 will be running on 10 days at 18 venues during the winter holidays for primary pupils who are entitled to a free school meal. On the eight days that the hubs are closed (25, 26, 27 and 28 December and 1, 2, 3 and 4 January), all primary children entitled to free school meals will receive a Club 365 payment of £2.50 per day.

Parents/carers will receive £20.00 payment from Wednesday 22 December – this will be in addition to the Scottish Government Free School Meal payment of £30.00.  In line with this initiative, eligible parents/carers will receive a one-off payment of £50.00 in their bank accounts.
