Their found all over gardens, parks, woods, and farmland.
what does it look like?
The Buff-tailed bumblebee is big and furry with two yellow stripes, with one near its head, and the other in the centre of its body.
The queen, is a bit bigger, and chunkier.

Buff-tailed bumblebees like to do their hibernation in nests underground, normally in old mouse holes or underneath sheds.

They are known for their “nectar robbing” behaviour, where they bite holes in flowers to access nectar if their tongue can’t reach it. They are also known to enjoy rolling around on objects, according to a study.
