Primaries 1 and 3 joined together to make the most of the beautiful weather and enjoyed a lovely walk playing beat the street, gaining points for our school. As part of their science topic ‘Planting and Growing’ Primary 1 planted sunflower seeds last week. The children were very excited and now have to care for them to help them grow. They need soil, water and sunlight for them to grow. The children will be keeping a diary about their growth and will be looking for new parts of the flower growing. Primary 1 had great fun last week when we started our new Technology topic called Party Hats. Our first task was a really big challenge. We had to make, decorate and size our own hats with no adult help. We could only have help from our friends. This was a really hard challenge but also really fun. Last Friday, it was the turn of P1, P4 and P6 to present what they have been learning in class. What a wonderful afternoon it was.
