Primary 4 Visit Vikingar!
Mrs Maitland and I had the pleasure of accompanying Primary 4 on an educational outing to Vikingar today. The boys and girls enjoyed extending their learning about the Vikings and also impressed our tour guides by showing off their prior knowledge . The children participated in many activities including dressing up in authentic Viking clothing, visiting a longhouse and watching a movie about the Battle of Largs in our own private cinema screening! The day ended on a high with a trip to the shop where the children had to use their money skills to do some clever budgeting and a sing song on the bus home. The children were a credit to the school and their parents today displaying excellent manners and behaviour throughout. It was a fantastic outing which we all enjoyed. Well done Primary 4!
