Annual Improvement Planning

Each year, we review our work to identify what is going well and what we need to improve.

Our priorities are based on:

• self-evaluation
• views of children, staff, families and other stakeholders
• local and national priorities

Our 2025-26 Priorities

Curriculum (Year 1 of 3)

• We are developing a refreshed curriculum that reflects our school values, children’s rights and national expectations. Children will experience engaging, well-planned learning across all areas of the curriculum.

Leadership of Change (Year 1 of 2)

• Staff and children will have more opportunities to lead learning and contribute to school improvement. We will work together to ensure changes are well planned and have a positive impact.

Health and Wellbeing (Year 1 of 2)

• We are strengthening support for children’s wellbeing. Children will be supported to manage their emotions, feel safe and respected, and be ready to learn.

Creativity and Outdoor Learning (Nursery)

• We are enhancing play and outdoor learning in our nursery. Children will benefit from rich, creative experiences both indoors and outdoors.
