Some of our Primary 4 girls went to the Girls Fest at the Tryst on Thursday 26th October. There were loads of activities which they could take part in, these included: badminton, football, gymnastics, basketball, cheerleading, judo, handball and taekwondo. There will be some changes to the menu this week:
Tuesday 31st – Option 1 will be Roast Beef and Option 2 will be Beef Burgers
Wednesday 1st – Option 1 will be Chicken Curry and Option 2 will be Pizza
Thursday 2nd – Option 1 will be Steak Pie and Option 2 will be Tomato Pasta with the addition of some Hot Dogs

Today is Project Edward which stands for European Day Without A Road Death. Every day across Europe, 70 people die on the roads. Hundreds more are seriously injured. The challenge for all of us is to reduce this to ZERO. Support this project by getting drivers to sign the pledge. http://projectedward.eu/pledge/

This week, at Westfield Primary, every class was asked the following question “how do you normally travel to school?”. The results have been compiled and in 1st place – walk, 2nd place – bus and 3rd place – car. Thank you to all the pupils for their responses and a huge thank you to our Junior Road Safety Officers for conducting the survey. The results will now be sent to Sustrans.
