We have had a busy month in January. In maths, some groups have been learning how to perform calculations involving decimals.  Another group has been revising how to tell the time using 24 hour notation – a very important skill when reading bus and train timetables.

On Tuesday mornings, Maria, a Spanish assistant has been visiting the school to teach us some new Spanish langauge skills.

We had our meeting to tell us about our visit to Kilbowie Outdoor Centre on 15th May. We are all excited about this and more details will appear nearer the time.

Finally for now, our new IDL topic is ‘The Swinging Sixties’.  We have been researching some famous people who were around at that time.  We will also be studying how families lived during the decade and of course, finding out about the music of the era.
