We have recently started our new topic ‘Ahead of Their Time’. We found out that Robert Owen opened the first infant class in the world in New Lanark for the children who worked in the mills.

We have been doing lots of research to find out about the mills in New Lanark and what life was like for children living there.  We will be visiting New Lanark at the end of January – We can’t wait.
