St Ignatius' PS

Weekly Blog – Week Beginning 16th April

Welcome Back. It is good to see everyone back at school, happy and eager to learn!

Congratulations to Miss Burns who got married during the Easter Holidays. We wish her and her husband all the best for the future.  She will now be called Mrs Zonfrillo.

Sensational Choir will continue to work with our Primary 7 children, who are really enjoying this great opportunity to work with such a talented group of people. The choir are very impressed by our pupils’ singing skills and are looking forward to putting on a great performance for our families and friends very soon.

The pupils will continue to work with Mr Munro and Mr Foster this term, further developing their P.E. skills and improving their fitness. Mr Wood will also be joining us for some tennis sessions this term.  Mr Johnstone will continue with the badminton sessions. He is challenging the teachers to a match with the pupils this term – wonder who might win this challenge! The Primary 5 children will also continue with their swimming programme until the end of the session.

After school clubs will begin again next week apart from football which will begin this week.

Primary 6 will attend the Bible Exhibition this week. Please find a letter in your child’s bag regarding this.

Mr Fionda will begin Forest School on Friday this week. If your child is involved they will have been informed about this before the Easter Holidays.
