Everyone here at St Ignatius’ wish you all a Happy, Holy and Restful Christmas. It has been a very busy term with concerts, parties and carol singing and we still managed to get all our class work done too!
Thank you to everyone who has supported the school over the last few months. The PTFA worked hard to raise over £2500, a fantastic amount which will go to provide many extras for our children – thanks to everyone who supported the various events.
It also has been fantastic having parent helpers in school to support our children, they are working alongside Rosie, our CL&D worker and we look forward to further developing this in the New Year.
Primary 7 recently took part in the Mock Court event – pupils and teachers worked extremely hard on this topic and presented to court at the end of November the case they had been working on. The children were fantastic and we were very proud of their effort with this. Two groups managed to be in the top six schools who presented in this session.
Primary 6 also had a successful Micro Tyco month, using all their entrepreneurial skills to raise funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.
Please join our Twitter where you will be kept up to date with all that is happening here at St Ignatius’. The app is also a great way of keeping up to date with what is happening in the school.
Once again we wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
Hi and welcome back to all our boys and girls, and especially our new Primary 1 children who have settled into school-life brilliantly.
