Parental Engagement Questionnaire

Your voice is important!

The Masked Singer

Who’s that behind the mask?

We have launched our Masked Singer competition in aid of our Lenten Charities Appeal.

Primary 4-7 Novel Collection

All children in Primary 6 and Primary 7, and some children in Primary 5 and Primary 4 have been allocated a novel for future reading tasks. These novels can be collected from the school on Thursday 28th January and Friday 29th January. A letter with further details has previously been sent out to all parents via Groupcall.

The letter is attached below. If you haven’t already done so, please take time to read this carefully and follow the instructions for collecting your child’s reading book.

For Primary 4 and 5 – your child’s teacher will have explained to your children the groups that require a novel through their class Team.

As always, if you have any issues please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Additional Home Learning Information

Remember that we are currently asking that all work be submitted using Glow Mail. This may change in the coming weeks – we will issue further guidance in due course. If you are not sure how to access Glow Mail please see the guidance below.

Home Learning Arrangements January 2021

From Monday 11th January, we will be providing online learning for all children not attending school. Please take the time to read the letter below, which gives an update on our arrangements for this.

Microsoft Teams will be the main platform used for online home learning. Please ensure that your child logs on to engage with this. Use the links below for guidance on downloading and using Teams.

For children of key workers who are attending school, lunch will be provided. The menu for these meals can be viewed below.

January 2021 Update

Following the latest announcements from the Scottish Government regarding changes to school arrangements after the Christmas break, North Lanarkshire have issued a letter to all parents. This is attached below. Please take the time to read over this information carefully.

In the letter you will find information for parents who are Key Workers. If you are a Key Worker and require your children to be at school you should complete the form below and return it to keyworkerschools@northlan.gov.uk.
