We are all delighted to welcome you to our website / blog.

We have become a larger establishment recently in the Orbiston area by amalgamating

our two nurseries; Sacred Heart Nursery  and Orbiston Nursery within the building of Sacred Heart Primary.

We currently support families with 3 year olds to 12 year olds.

Our plans for the future is to move into a joint state of the art campus with our friends in Lawmuir Primary.

Our consultations have been thorough including staff, parents, carers and pupils.

From this consultation we now have a digital site which will share plans and progresses taking place as the

build progresses for all interested in the site to ‘check in’ and view progress.

Estimates predict that this new building will be realised by 2024.

Until this is made a reality, we continue to develop and prepare our pupils in the Curriculum for Excellence.

Digital learning since the start of Covid – 19 has taken over many opportunities of learning and communication.

Staff, pupils and home have engaged in a steep learning curve of Digital Learning which has allowed us all to keep in touch,

view classwork and follow the progress of our school and nurseries.

Homework has developed considerably, allowing pupils to research and complete home learning within the NL Digital classrooms and helping pupils to access activities in a colourful, exciting format of Digital Learning.

Although Covid – 19 continues to concern us all, we have adapted and found solutions to overcome many of the challenges this pandemic has challenged us in.

With your support we hope to continue to improve and build a more dynamic platform for you to search and follow all our developments from day to day. I look forward to welcoming you to our establishments through this website and know you are journeying through our developments with us.
