P7

Good morning P7,

It was great to speak to some of you yesterday on our Teams chat! I’m glad to hear you’re all doing well and keeping yourselves busy!

For those of you who didn’t manage to join the chat, one of the things we discussed was our Sacred Heart memories.

I asked you to start thinking back on your Sacred Heart highlights so we could begin to put together a virtual ‘Memory Jar’.

You can choose as many highlights as you like from any year of your Sacred Heart journey.

When you’ve had a good think back you can send your highlights to my email address linked below…

gw10hodgsontherese@glow.sch.uk

Any questions at all you’ll find me over on Teams today.

Have a great Thursday P7,

Stay safe and keep smiling…

Mrs H 😊

Wednesday

Good morning Room 9.  I hope you had a lovely day yesterday. Today I’d like you to log into your Education City accounts please.  Have a look around and let me know your first impressions please.  Is it easy for you to navigate?  Do you like the activities?  Do you prefer this or Sumdog? Is it easy enough to find games that are just right for you, or are they too easy or too hard?  Please let me know because if it’s tricky for you to navigate because I can set you specific games. But I don’t want to do that if you’re enjoying exploring the website.  So please just give me a couple of comments to let me know your first impressions.  I’d really appreciate it.

WW2 Code Breaker

Morning Room 14! I hope you are well. Please remember to check your email 📧 and accept our invite to our Teams meeting tomorrow. Everyone is in the same group tomorrow so there is only 1 time slot of 12pm. Hope you can all make it 🥰

Code Breaker

Miss Robertson found this amazing task and I couldn’t wait to share it with you:

It’s a code breaker challenge online based on World War 2. You have to follow the questions and tasks and help break the code that the enemies are covering up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Here is the link:

WW2 Code Breaker

Good luck and keep working hard on your Sumdog and literacy tasks.

Have a fabulous day,

Miss Rossetti 🥰

Room 1 – Wednesday 3rd June 2020

Good Morning Room 1,

Just a wee reminder for you to check your Glow email for your TEAM chat invite at 12.30 on Thursday at 12.30. I hope you all can make it 🙂

This week in Maths we are looking at 2D shapes and their properties. Below is a PowerPoint Quiz about 2D shapes, let me know how you get on. If you fancy something fun to do afterwards, try the 2D shape colouring pictures.

Our new topic is Summer, Mrs Sinclair’s favourite season 🙂

Check out this PowerPoint, all about Summer. I would love to know what your favourite thing is about Summer. My favourite is eating ice poles when it is warm.

Remember we still have our Sumdog challenge up and running. If you complete the challenge you will receive 200 gold coins. Also we have games on Study Ladder and Education City to help with shape and our ‘oo’ sound this week. Try to practise your pencil control skills everyday even if you are just writing out your spelling words. It is so important that we are still writing everyday.

Have a great Wednesday and remember you can send me your favourite thing about Summer on our TEAM chat or email me. It would be great to hear from you.

Love

Mrs Sinclair xxx
