Room 13 – More home learning

Hello lovelies!

It was great fun on our teams chat this afternoon! Thank you to those who could join us! Here is the Scavenger Hunt that we did. I thought you might like a copy of it to do at home with your family, and there are plenty items that we didn’t find earlier too!

Hopefully you have been giving the Sumdog maths challenge a go this week?

To keep you busy, take a look at this list of non-screen activities. It might be good to give your eyes a rest from those screens now and again!

Finally, I am going to link to each groups spelling words that we have been working on this year. Use this as a checklist for revision, and make sure you are confident at spelling these words.

Study Ladder has been updated with some more literacy and numeracy tasks.

I have also uploaded an Endangered Species Fact File worksheet onto our teams page under the Science folder which ties in nicely with the Power Point I uploaded yesterday. Log on to Teams and check it out. 😃

Room 1 – Wednesday 10th June 2020

Good Morning Room 1,

I know it is raining outside but this gives us lots of time to do something I love. READING. Today we are going to write a book report on our favourite book from home. When you have completed them, email them over or send into our TEAMs chat and I can have a look 🙂

Thomas & Ciaran great effort on Education City this week. I have sent over your certificates.

Cooper another big achievement on Studyladder a Bronze ribbon, I have emailed it over.

Keep working on our ‘ck’ sound this week. How many ‘ck’ words have you found?

Can you spell them on your own by sounding out?

Home Learning 10th June 2020

Good morning Room 14,

Please keep an eye out in your emails today for our Teams invite this week. It will be Friday at 11am. I hope you can all join 😊

This week our main maths focus is the SUMDOG NLC COMPETITION. Please continue to answer as many questions as possible and get Sacred Heart on the leader board! 😉

I hope you are also enjoying your Black Lives Matter tasks and finding this a very interesting and eye opening subject. I certainly enjoy reading the history and learning about it ❤️

Remember we also have the Ickabog story by JK Rowling that I would love for you to continue reading. It’s getting so much more exciting as the chapters go on; The Ickabog

Continue reading and creating the illustrations for the book! 😊 📚
