Good morning everyone
I hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend.
Hopefully you are all still managing to fit in some walking exercise as often as possible.
Here is the last Walk from Home challenge before the Summer holidays. Have a read at the task and hopefully you can try some of the lovely ideas suggested.
As always, have fun and stay safe.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend 🥰
Mrs Frew has uploaded some excellent tasks for this week and I’d like you to start with them today. They are so interesting. Enjoy 😊
For the rest of the week..

We are going to work on this exciting e-book! It is a Twinkl original book with exciting content and description. You can access the book on our teams page under FILES:

I will upload another task for this on Wednesday. Enjoy 📚

For numeracy this week each maths group has updated tasks on Sumdog. Please log on and have a go 🥰

Good morning everyone. How are you all doing. Big thanks to Jayden and Sam for getting their photo’s for “Lockdown in Colour” to me this week. Still time to get on that task and get your pictures to me before I post next week. We are almost finished the summer term which means that you are all just about P7!!!! Wow!
ICT
LI – I can create a quiz using PowerPoint.
Can you create an “End of The Year” multiple choice quiz for your classmates using PowerPoint? Think of all the things your class has participated in this year, topics you have completed, funny things that have happened and design a quiz for your classmates.
Skill Checklist
• I can create attractive, eye catching slides
• I can make multiple choice answers move on to the screen one by one.
• I can create a reveal of the answer.
• I can insert appropriate images into slides.
Send your finished quiz to me for approval and I will post them for your classmates next week!
Enjoy!
RE
LI – I am learning about the feast of Corpus Christi.
This past week we have celebrated the feast of Corpus Christi in the catholic church. Corpus Christi means “the body of Christ”. Have a look at the PowerPoint below then try the worksheet and word search attached.

Good morning Room 1! How are you all doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying spending time with your loved ones. Have a go at your activities for this week if you can. Mrs Frew xxx
Science
LI – I can select and complete a science experiment.
Well boys and girls, we are almost done with our science together for this year. I found this fabulous video of easy experiments you can do at home. Watch and be amazed…talk about how you think they work and give one a go if you can! Have fun!
Health and Wellbeing/Art
This week we are going to mix together art and health to create one big lesson which I hope you find fun! This week I’d like you to get together with an adult in the kitchen. Remember before you touch any food, you must WASH YOUR HANDS. Let an adult show you how to use a knife safely to chop your fruit into your desired shape!
We are now in summer and what is better in summer than to eat lots of healthy fruits. Can you create your own yummy fruit art for me? Here are a few ideas to get you started! Have fun!

Good morning everyone. Just over a week to go until we are officially on summer holidays! Woohoo! I cannot wait, even if the holidays will be a bit different this year. Did anyone try the acrostic poem I asked you to do last week? If so I’d love to see it. I hope you are all working hard at home. Here are some tasks for you to try out this week.
Health and Wellbeing
LI – I am learning about staying safe when I return to school.
When we come back to school things are going to be a little different, we have to make changes to make sure that we are all staying safe. Can you create a poster with some rules we could follow in school that would make sure we are all staying safe. Think about how we should sit in class, handwashing, sharing things, lunch times and play times. You can use pictures and words on your posters to make it really interesting to look at.
Art
LI – I am experimenting with Origami.
This week, 5 Pilot whales were stranded on the shore of a Scottish island. This gave me the inspiration to look for some art inspired by whales. We have tried out lots of art activities over the weeks but this is something new. Origami is the art of paper folding. It looks easy but can be super tricky. Try to follow the tutorial below to create your own origami whale. Have fun!
