I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Today is World Oceans Day
I know we have looked at the damage and threat to our oceans during our recent Climate project and so as its World Oceans Day I thought our task today could focus on the wonders of our oceans.
I have linked a really cool website below, the web page acts as the ocean and the further you scroll down on the page the deeper into the ocean you go. There are lots of facts and information about ocean creatures and the efforts humans have made to dive to new depths to explore the ocean floor.
Once you have complete your own dive into the ocean I would like you to create a visual showing some of the facts and information you have learned. You could make a poster showing the different areas of the ocean and the types of sea creatures you would find at different depths or you might want to make a mind map with facts and illustrations to show your learning. It’s up to you!
