Digital Learning – Primary 3 Room 5

Good Morning boys and girls,

I hope that everyone had a lovely weekend and you are all ready for another week of Digital Learning! 🌟

Today is the 1st of February and also, the first day of Children’s Mental Health Week. 🌼🌼🌼

Mrs Early has been very kind and designed Child Mental Health activity grids for all the boys and girls at Muir Street Primary (see attachments below). Please, take some time out this week to complete activities of your choice. Also, we have our very own Room 5 Mindfulness Journal starting this week and more details can be found on our Teams page about this. 😊

It is so important to take some time out if you feel like you need to boys and girls. You may wish to take a walk, talk to your family, call a friend or complete some mindfulness activities. These are challenging times that we are in and I just wanted to say that I am super proud of you all. You are all working so incredibly hard and are all shining stars!🌟

Your Digital Learning Grids for this week are also attached below.

Take care and remember to check in on Teams everyone,

Primary 5 Room 9

Good morning boys and girls 🌤

Welcome to a new and exciting week of home learning. I can’t believe it is February already! Well done to everyone that has been working extremely hard over the last few weeks. Thank you to everyone at home who has been supporting their child’s learning🌟

This is a very important week because it is Children’s Mental Health Week. We all have mental health and it is important that we look after ourselves and others during these times. Mrs Early has created a Children’s Mental Health Week Grid that is full of activities to help you with this. Please remember that these are extra activities and only do what you can 💡

Please also find this week’s Home Learning Grid. Remember that everything you need for your activities are in the ‘Files’ section of our Teams page. They have also been uploaded to Seesaw if you prefer using this 😊 I love seeing all of your hard work and fun activities you are getting up to at home. If you can, remember to send pictures or videos of your hard work. I would love to hear from you 💌

Stay safe, have fun and enjoy this weeks activities 😁📚

stay healthy helpful and calm

Good morning,

Hope everyone continues to be safe and well.  It is hard to believe that today is the 1st of February!  However, I am glad the days are moving towards the spring.  If you get the chance remember to get out in the fresh air and enjoy a walk-  small early signs of spring are appearing already- see if you can spot  any bulbs or buds appearing!

A walk in nature is a good way to improve our mental health by boosting our mood and enjoying the out- doors.  It is Children’s Mental Health Week this week- please find some ideas more ideas to encourage positive mental well-being, this is especially important given our current situation.

Children’s Mental Health Week

These times are challenging for us all and this week is Children’s Mental Health Week. The theme for this week is Express Yourself so we are asking you to think about how you can express yourself. It is about being proud of who you are and your own individuality, but also about learning to communicate your feelings. Talking about how you feel is so important so please never keep anything bottled up and know that any member of staff at Muir Street is here for any member of the Muir Street family (and that includes parents and carers!)

Here is a grid of activities related to the theme of Express Yourself for this week’s Children’s Mental Health Week for you to try at home and share with your class. We hope you enjoy.

There are also some virtual classrooms with extra activities for anyone interested.

Room 2

Good morning,

Hope you have all had a relaxing weekend and are ready for another week of home learning. We are missing you more with each passing week and look forward to being back in the classroom together. We love seeing all your hard work on Teams and you are all working so hard so keep it up! We are proud of you all.

I have attached the online learning grid to this post and all the resources you need should be on Teams for you, but as always please get in touch if we can help in anyway.

Mrs Mooney will be hosting a live meet with the boys and girls in Room 2 on Thursday at 11am using Teams so it would be lovely to see lots of you there if you can make it.

Have a great week 🙂

Room 7 Monday 1st of February

Hi boys and girls,

Hope you are all well. Again you all worked your wee socks off last week and I am so proud of you all 🙂 Special thank you again to all the adults at home helping you!

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. Looking after our mental health is just as important as our physical health, especially at this time. Mrs Early has very kindly created a grid for us all this week. This contains lovely activities that can be completed by yourself or with your family. I have included some of these in our daily programme.

All  tasks are available on Teams and Glow. Please remember you do not need to complete every task every day. Try your hardest to complete your maths and literacy if you can.

Remember I am only one message away if you need me 🙂

miss you

Good Morning Room 1!

Hi Room 1! I hope you had a good weekend.  Please find below a link to your online learning grid for this week.   A folder named ‘1st February 2021’ containing all of the resources you will need for your online learning can be found in files on Teams.  You will also find your reading tasks in the assignments folder.  I will be in school today and am looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on our live chat at 11am 🌞. Don’t worry if you can’t make it along this time as there will be more online chats in due course. Mrs Reid will be available to take any of your online questions today and will be delighted to see any work you would like to upload to Teams 🙂. As always, please don’t worry about completing absolutely everything on the grid, unless you want to of course 😋. There is no pressure…you must do what best suits your family situation. I want to finish this post by saying a big thank you to all the grown ups, including big sisters and brothers who are helping all of you with your learning. This wouldn’t be possible without them! ⭐ Happy learning! 👍
