Graduation
Things are very different this year with continuing COVID regulations in place. Visitors and Parents are still unable to attend school in person. Class bubbles also have to be maintained. Our arrangements below reflect this. .
We do recognise however the importance of marking time at Lawmuir PS and your child’s move to secondary school.
This year our Graduation will go ahead with Primary 7 pupils and staff only. We will however live stream the event and record it so it is available for you to watch back at your leisure. A webex link will be issued to all parents nearer the time
Room 9 Tuesday 22nd June @ 2pm
Room 11 Wednesday 23rd June @ 2pm
P7 Leavers Event
This year leavers event will be ‘Lawmuir Grad Fest 2021’. This will be an outdoor carnival theme event with music, carnival activities and festival food. Dress code is a boho festival vibe, think shorts or floaty dresses but you might need a raincoat and wellies.
Dates below:
Room 9 Thursday 17th June 1.30pm – 3pm
Room 11 Friday 18th June 1.30pm – 3pm
The letter attached gives details of the new proposed Orbiston Community Hub
Opportunities for future engagement will be publisised here and on the Lawmuir PS App.
I am delighted to inform you that Mr Paul Lumsden has joined Lawmuir Primary as Acting Depute Head Teacher.
Mr Lumsden has many years of experience and he is very much looking forward to getting to know the pupils, staff, parents and the whole Lawmuir community. I know like me you will welcome him to Lawmuir Primary. I am hoping that many of you will get to meet him over the coming months.
