Today Room 1 & 2 had some very special visitors!
Some Guide Dogs and their trainers came along to share with us about the guide dogs are trained.
We also learned about how the guide dogs can help blind people.

Mr Sutherland, Executive Director Visits Lawmuir
Everyone at Lawmuir was very excited to have our Executive Director, Mr Andrew Sutherland visiting this morning. Some of our Primary 7 pupils accompanied Mr Sutherland and Mrs Hunter on a tour of the school. Boys and girls in all classes were very keen to show off all of their hard work. I’m sure Mr Sutherland really enjoyed his visit as much as we enjoyed having him in Lawmuir.
Traffic Police Visit
Rooms 3 & 6 were lucky enough to have a special visit from the Traffic Police on Thursday. Some boys and girls even got to sit in the driver’s seat!
Fire Brigade Visit
This Week as part of their Interdisciplinary learning topic, Primary 2 enjoyed a visit from the Fire Brigade. They spoke about how important their jobs were and some of the equipment they used during rescues. The boys and girls all really enjoyed the visit, especially going outside to see the Fire Engine.
