Rooms 12 & 13 have been learning lots about dinosaurs this term. Boys & girls have been working hard on dinosaur projects at home! Look at how fantastic they are!
Primary 3 visit Purves Puppets in Biggar
Today we had a terrific visit to Purves Puppets in Biggar. The boys and girls loved watching how the puppeteers brought the puppets to life. We sat in a small traditional puppet theatre to watch the story of Tinderbox. The boys and girls were captured with the puppets, lighting and the theatre. The dog puppets were very cool!
A Healthy Week in Primary 3
The boys and girls in Room 12 and 13 have been very busy this week learning lots about a healthy balanced diet and the sugar content in drinks. Milkshake was a real shocker! Please look out for the “Rethink Your Drink” display at school entrance coming soon. We have been very active in and around our school too. Daily mile has certainly kept us fit.
How cute are our Guide Dog Puppies?
We are sponsoring 3 puppies, Fifi, Eddie and Fargo. Have a look at the photographs we’ve been sent. We will get regular updates on our puppies progress over their 24 month journey to becoming fully trained Guide Dogs.
Outdoor Learning Room 13
We visited to Strathclyde Park today to search for minibeasts. We found lots of bugs and we were able to name them all!
Head Teacher’s Award
More successful learners this week. Fantastic work, so impressed with the discussions about your work. Rooms 2 and 17 were away on trips, will catch up with you later.
