Please excuse the letter I gave out earlier in the week! The date for this event is in fact Thursday 31st of March!

Children will stay at school after 3pm. Please collect your child at 5;15pm from the school hall in order to transport your child to Cumbernauld High School. The event starts at 6pm.

If you have still to pay the £11.00 club fee please pay this as soon as possible as this will meet some of the costs of costumes and shoes!

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me !

Thank you so much to everyone who supported our Fairtrade Crazy Day today. It was wonderful to see so many Fairtrade colours, and the Fairtrade cakes were out of this world! We have managed to raise almost £100!

Our judges had a fantastic time tasting all your treats…well done to our winners! Prizes for our winners will be brought to you on Monday!

Finally thanks to our wonderful Fairtrade managers for their hard work and effort organising this day for Fairtrade Fortnight…I am so proud of your efforts and all the brilliant work you have done in school to support Fairtrade! Keep it up Kilsyth!

P7 prepare for War!

To make sure our families are prepared for The Blitz, we spent time last week making model Anderson Shelters! We researched what shelters looked like (and even saw a real one in Kilsyth!) and used what we found to help us build our own models. Ask us about our Anderson Shelters and what we use them for…

Welcome to Duntreath Terrace, 1939-1945!

After exploring Kilsyth and the areas that existed during World War 2, P7 have decided to recreate a local street, Duntreath Terrace, during World War 2 to help us visualise what it was like to live in Kilsyth during the War! Can you spot the front doors to our ‘houses’? Here are some of our families, and their diaries of their Wartime experience so far!
