It’s day 28 of our experiment, so P7 have been recording some of the data, and measuring the mean number of leaves of our plants! We are still trying to guess which seeds have been in space…

Buddies In The Making!
Primary 6 were asked by the nursery to complete application forms to see who would become buddies to help the new Primary 1 class next year. They are now patiently waiting to see how successful these applications were.
Primary 6 Get Challenged By K’nex!
Every year Primary 6 classes from across North Lanarkshire are asked to take part in the K’nex Challenge. In class we practised our building and design skills by using K’nex to make lots of things from simple letters to an exercise machine for Tim Peake. Eventually four children were chosen to take part in the main event that took place in Kilsyth Academy. These children were Ben, Charlotte, Chloe and Katie.
Take a look at the photographs below to see how hard the class worked.
Primary 6 and Primary 7 are Space Biologists!
Here are Primary 6 and Primary 7 planting the rocket seeds we received as part of the Tim Peake Rocket Science experiment! Over the next few weeks we will be monitoring and examining our seeds to help astronauts discover whether they can grow food in space!
