Lots of red faces today in the sun, thank you to the one parent for the after sun which we will replace later👍
Lots of chocolate has been purchased but I am not sure how much will arrive in Chapelhall 🍫
Another fabulous stay in the Stuart House Hotel. I can not thank the owners enough or recommend them highly enough. They have looked after all of us so well and so happily.
Allie our faithful bus driver has again been super and so patient and obliging.
I have assisted the stuffing (oops sorry packing) of about 16-18 cases and bags tonight. Sorry for the disarray😀
Early rise at 6.30 tomorrow for breakfast at 7.30. Plan to be on the road at 8.30/45 with a very tired group of children who might sleep all the way🤞

Night Night from Scarborough
All is very quiet here. Children are all in bed, most asleep and a few nearly there. All super excited about their day tomorrow. I read out all your comments from the blog and also from Twitter today and the children are all delighted to hear them. Many said to pass on their love back to you too. A few little arguments and tired tears tonight, which is what we expected. (That was from the staff!!😀
They will all have a goood sleep tonight ready for a day of hyper adrenaline tomorrow.
I have asked again for our data here to be increased asap. As soon as we get notified we will post as much as we can. Many are in twitter – @chapelhallps already.
Night Night from Scarborough.
York-2017 Day 2
What a fabulous day we have had visiting York! The sun has shone brightly all day, although it was quite chilly at times! We started the day with a visit to the railway museum and a ride on the miniature train. Then we caught the little train into the Minster and headed for lunch and the Chocolate story, which was delicious. We went straight from there to travel back in time to Viking days at the Jorvik Centre. Then we were treated to delicious ice-creams. Our final visit of the day was to the Minster which was amazing. To wind up our day we went on a ghost tour around the city and heard some really spooky stories! 😱
So now after a very long day we are on the bus and heading back to the hotel looking forward to an amazing meal which awaits!
Keep leaving us messages and checking our Twitter feed for photos.
Once again your fabulous children have been complimented on their behaviour and manners on many occasions today, they are a credit to you all. 😄⭐
Ghost Walking/Sitting
Very tired children after all this walking. York is exhausting and lots of children asking when they can go to bed!!!
York -2017
A great night had by all. Super walk last night, amazing food and clear plates all round. We are all up washed, fed and on our way to a very exciting and busy day in York! We are still struggling to upload pictures to the blog, we will keep trying. In the meantime leave us messages here and keep checking twitter for updates. Thank you.
Night Night From Scarborough
After a super meal from Meg and Stuart which flew off everyone’s plates we had a late night walk in the dark down to the waterside. The tide was fully in and the waves were splashing over the side. Good fun. All now tucked up in bed including staff, no issues or tears and most sound asleep. All others very quiet. Lots of happy children. We have also had four compliments from members of the public on how well behaved and well mannered our/your children were today in Beamish. Lovely to hear. Will post all the pictures when we get more data organized but will keep Twitter ticking over meantime.
